Sensitive skin: what it means

Stinging when you apply a new product, redness that flares up for no clear reason, reactions to fragrance, heat, or even cold air. Sensitive skin has a weakened barrier that lets irritants in and moisture out. The right approach is minimal, fragrance-free, and barrier-first. Less is genuinely more here.

What to look for in products

Centella Asiatica and Madecassoside for calming + barrier repair
Heartleaf to soothe redness
Panthenol for healing support
Propolis for gentle antibacterial + nourishing benefits
Ceramide-rich, fragrance-free moisturizers
Mineral SPF (zinc oxide) over chemical filters

What to avoid

Anything with added fragrance or essential oils
Alcohol denat in any step
Physical exfoliants (scrubs, brushes, mitts)
High-strength acids and retinoids (introduce extremely slowly if at all)
Too many active ingredients layered at once
