Serum

A Korean serum is a lightweight, concentrated step that goes on after toner or essence and before moisturizer, focused on one goal such as hydration, brightness or a firmer look. This collection is mostly face serums, with a few eyelash serums, sheet masks and sunscreens.

Brands include SOME BY MI, slowpure, Numbuzin, TIAM, SKIN1004, Neogen, Mary&May and Mediheal. Examples are the Numbuzin No.5 Vitamin Concentrated Serum, the Torriden DIVE IN Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid Serum, the Anua Azelaic Hyaluron Soothing Serum, the Sulwhasoo Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Serum EX and the Numbuzin No. 7 Mild Green Soothing Serum.

Choose by one concern at a time. Hyaluronic acid serums suit dry or tight-feeling skin, niacinamide or vitamin C serums suit an uneven-looking tone, and soothing serums suit skin that looks red. Apply a few drops or pumps to damp skin and follow with moisturizer. If firmer-looking skin is your goal, our skincare tips for aging skin are a good next read.
